When I was welcomed by Tim Rajeff, of Rajeff Sports, to movie on England’s River Esk and the historical chalk stream, River Avon, I might not withstand. This is the birth place of dry fly fishing, a location of abundant customs and history, from the sword to the contemporary fishing pole. On this journey, I met Tim’s associates from Airflo, spey casters Richard Wothers and Gareth Jones. Fishing in the shadow of castles and in dazzling green pastures, these anglers stalk and capture grayling, rainbow and brown trout, all delighting in mayflies. This movie highlights the history and spiritual guidelines of England’s popular dry fly fishing heritage. Thanks to Airflo, Patagonia and Rajeff Sports for making this movie occur. It was, for me, a spiritual experience and one I’ll always remember.
