Nice casting technics man ! Thanks for sharing 😉
Well done!
Insightful video mate. 👍 From the description I understand you are using Rio pike-n-musky line, which has a floating body and I guess this helps making this type of cast (?) Does it work with the sink tip model and which depth can you reach fishing like this? (I guess with the current you need a line that goes quickly to the depth you want. Am I right?

Nice to see, thanks!!!
If I have a silk tip line would I d0 the same, its 30 feet sink tip
whats up with the fake hoes all over these comments lol
Wow you really make it look easy and really efficient. Thanks for these tips. I cant wait for the ice to melt and get out there again!
Great video. Does the line weight impacts the effectiveness of casting like this? I am going to try it this year. I will be using a single-hand 12wt with 450gr or 500gr intermediate sink tip.
I’m just getting started with fly rods for musky and I will definitely try this technique.
How long is your two handed rod and do you see a big advantage vs. single handed? Looking at buying a rod and getting started. Going for musky in Michigan on Detroit River and Lake St Clair.
Very nice video. Do you use weighted or unweighted streamers? Many thanks.
Your backcast is longer than your forward cast.
How far do you realistically need to cast for Musky? I have a ten weight that I use to throw about that size of fly, and I seem to have a hard time casting past maybe 20 or fifteen feet.
