Hi Chad have you ever tried the perception outlaw? I think boat is a fishing machine especially with a trolling motor added
Hi Chad I always look forward to seeing your videos all the tips and tricks have helped me a lot in my kayak fishing adventures
Never thought I’d see a Tenkara rod on this channel, great stuff!!
Enjoying the fly fishing for someone just getting in to it.
Loving it! 👍🏻👍🏻
I need to practice more
@Chad Hoover total beginner question for you lol ….I always hear kayakers say that they will paddle down river ….what happens when you have to paddle back to the launch spot and the river current is heavy and fast ? Do you still paddle up river to get back ?
So this may be a dumb question. If you are fishing a faster (and deeper) moving river and you wipe out, what happens when your kayak floats down river away from you? Are you just crap out of luck if you can’t catch up to it?
As someone who will never get to fish for largemouth I'm loving the new content.
i remember the first time i went down the river when boat hit the rock out i went wasnt no stopping that going 20 mph to dead stop you going in the water hahahahahahahaha i always loved tire tube fishing the river right now its 104 degrees the river is 55 degrees
Great video brother 👍
Awesome seeing someone fly fish for trout from a Kayak!
Appreciate the tips @chad! Looking for a little more advice. Bought a Ride 135 after reading your book years ago and the last new kayak I bought was a Knot Right Green Commander 120. With the kids getting a little older, starting to get the bug again to go into the flats and eventually offshore down here in Texas. Any advice on a new yak for those circumstances? Wouldn't be using a mothership so would have to either paddle or peddle everywhere. Still love the platform of the Ride but sold my original 135…thoughts on if its still a good fit? Radar 135? Something from Bonafide or Jackson? Obviously always respect your opinion? Maybe a video on what to look for in the salt?
I recognize the trek through the Tennessee countryside, but don't recognize the river. What river is it?
Chad have you ever done a video on your trucks you have had over the years for carrying your kayaks. I would like too see how you started and where are you at now on hauling your kayaks and gear. Seems like I am always struggling on finding a way I really like.
Hunting for a new kayak, what do you think is the fastest paddling sit on top? I do alot of creek fishing and have to cover miles most days
I used to work at that facility you showed at the end of the video…plastic bag manufacturing
Only times rivers run around here is 3 months out of the year or a flash flood …lol . I’m jealous.
What kind of knife is on your PFD
